Two free parenting sessions will be offered Wednesday by Child Development Specialist Tonya James from the Muskogee County Health Department’s Child Guidance Clinic. ‘Pause for Parenting’ will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the conference room, at the Muskogee Public Library. James can offer advice on issues related to children from birth to six years. Persons are welcome to come for all or part of the scheduled time to ask their parenting questions. No appointment is needed.
‘Crying Comfort’ will be offered at 5:30 p.m. at the Muskogee Women’s Clinic. The class will teach parents what to do for their crying baby and how to help them sleep longer. Statistics show parents who learn these techniques are 100 times more successful at calming their crying baby. For further information, contact James at 683-0321 or to enroll in ‘Crying Comfort’ call 687-5477.
