Three Rivers Health Center in Muskogee was one of several the Cherokee Nation’s health centers receiving performance awards from the United States Government as part of the Government Performance Records Act.
The Muskogee center received the Best Goal Outcome Awards for pap smears, mammography and children ages 2-5 with a body mass index (BMI) of less than 95 percent.
Several of the tribe’s centers earned a total of 13 awards. Other centers honored included ones at Jay, Vinita and Salina.
