TAHLEQUAH — The Sequoyah Schools’ yearbook class is currently selling advertising to offset the cost of the yearbook to the students. Parents of students, as well as area business owners, are invited to advertise in the book.
“Our goal is to raise $5,000 in advertising revenue this year,” said Shellie Neighbors, Sequoyah Schools’ yearbook class teacher. “The rising cost of printing the book over the past few years has really taken a bite out of the school’s budget, and we don’t want to have to pass that cost along to our students and make them pay more for their yearbooks.”
Corporate advertising rates are $500 for a full page, $250 for a half page, $125 for a quarter page and $75 for a business card-sized ad. Parents and family members may purchase a congratulatory ad for a specific student for half-price.
Corporate ads and payments are due by Nov. 3, and student ads and payments are due by Oct. 3.
To purchase an ad, contact Shellie Neighbors at 453-5400 or Tera Shows at 453-5542.
