A Vian man was killed Wednesday evening when the 2005 Polaris 400 ATV he was driving in a field in Sequoyah County rolled over an unknown number of times, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Johnny Williams, 55, was in a field off a county road three miles north and four miles west of Sallisaw.
It is not known why Willliams was driving in the field, the OHP said. His vehicle came to rest on its right side. Williams was under the vehicle when help arrived at about 6:40 p.m., the OHP report said.
He was taken to Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival from internal injuries.
