Petra Tapia has been named Hilldale Middle School’s Student of the Month for September. Petra is the daughter of Bernabe and Gabriela Tapia of Muskogee.
Petra is in the seventh grade, and enjoys playing soccer. She is on the Principal’s Honor Roll, Student Safety Task Force and a Peer Mediator for Hilldale Middle School. She is also a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
The Student of the Month is nominated by the teachers, and is designed to recognize students who have achieved high academic standards. The Hilldale Middle School Student Council sponsors the Student of the Month.
