LaTonya Garner, farm loan officer of the Farm Service Agency in Tahlequah, presents a Oklahoma Rural Rehabilitation Corporation (ORRC) Scholarship to Hayden L. Wright of Porum.
Oklahoma Rural Rehabilitation Corporation (ORRC), located in Stillwater, has completed processing scholarships to Oklahoma farm and rural students who graduated from high school this spring.
Area students were approved for the ORRC Scholarships. Of the 207 applications received, 128 scholarships totaling $53,000 have been approved to assist students entering college or a technical school in Oklahoma.
ORRC began its scholarship program in 1968 and approximately $3,073,000 has been awarded to students since then.
