A man who jumped from a second-story window in July who told police he had just sent somebody to heaven, was charged with four felonies Thursday.
Andre Adams, 18, is being held on $100,000 bond in the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility. He is charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation for strangling his brothers, ages 9 and 11 on July 17, court documents state.
He also is charged with assault and battery on a police officer for allegedly kicking Officer Danny Dupont and aggravated assault and battery on an emergency medical technician for allegedly kicking EMT Ben McFarland in the face several times while McFarland was trying to render aid to him for injuries he received when he jumped out of an upstairs window at Austin Heights Apartments on North Main Street.
Adams will be back in court Sept. 11 for a sounding docket.
