Police arrested two people Thursday in connection with a home invasion at 2804 N. Edmond St., alleged to have occurred early Monday.
Sgt. Greg Martin of the Muskogee Police Department said Dorothy Washington, 20, and Ike Alexander, 26, were arrested without incident. A third suspect, described only as an unidentified black man, remains at large.
Martin said Washington, who had been in a dating relationship with one of the brothers who live at the residence, was at the house when Alexander knocked at the door.
Washington, Martin said, opened the door to Alexander, her boyfriend, who stormed into the house, drew a pistol and demanded money. When his demands were denied, Alexander allegedly began beating Jorge Garcia with a pistol.
Martin said the two were booked into Muskogee County/City Detention Facility on complaints of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. Martin said he expects Alexander will face an additional charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
