A Wagoner man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Whitehorn Road north of Wagoner shortly after midnight Saturday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Thomas James Lee Kelly, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene, the OHP report stated.
The accident occurred just northeast of the Whitehorn Cove Fire Department about 12:50 a.m. as Kelly drove eastbound in a 2004 Mercury. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree, the OHP report states.
Kelly was ejected from the vehicle. Seatbelts were not in use, according to the report.
His body was taken tot he state medical examiner’s office in Tulsa, the report states.
