The Muskogee IBC branch, 2401 E. Chandler Road, closed at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, 45 minutes earlier than usual, so employees could go to a quarterly “Sellebration” in Tulsa.
The branch reopened Wednesday morning.
Terri Anthony, IBC Oklahoma vice president for marketing, said the Sellebration is an internal IBC event involving 17 IBC bank branches in Northeastern Oklahoma.
She said the event is a way for employees to improve their customer service.
