A Broken Arrow man who was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Wagoner County remained hospitalized Monday.
Douglas Scism, 44, was listed in serious condition at St. John Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened at 7:40 p.m. at 161st Street and Oklahoma 72.
Scism was fleeing the scene of a non-injury collision, heading west on 161st Street. The 1991 Ford Ranger pickup he was driving left the road for an unknown reason and struck a tree.
Scism was flown to St. John Medical Center, where he was admitted in critical condition with head, neck and internal trunk injuries.
Scism was not wearing his seat belt, the trooper said.
