A barbecue dinner will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday as part of the Keefeton Fire and Rescue’s 18th annual Extravaganza.
An auction will follow.
Both events are part of an afternoon of activities that begins at 4 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. to raise money for the fire department.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward the purchase of new Self-contained Breathing Apparatus at $7,000 each.
The fire department covers 55 square miles around Keefeton, with 15 volunteer firefighters, said Speck Plunkett, fire chief.
