At its regular meeting Tuesday, the Hilldale Board of Education:
• Heard that school roofing projects could be completed by Friday.
• Heard that Hilldale Schools will deal with a “standstill” budget for 2009, though fuel costs are rising.
• Voted to appoint Cindy Roberts minute and encumbrance clerk for 2009.
• Voted to appoint Carol Cook as treasurer for the 2009 school year.
• Voted to accept bid from Highland Dairy for milk products, Flowers Baking Co., for bread products and Mazzio’s for pizza for the 2009 school year.
• Voted to declare a school bus as surplus.
