WAGONER (AP) — A 19-month old boy has died two days after being found in a rural residential swimming pool in Wagoner County.
Wagoner County Sheriff Johnny Carson says Johnny Lee Catlaidge’s death appears to be an accidental drowning, although authorities still are investigating.
Carson says the boy was found face down in the pool by authorities on Tuesday. The boy died Thursday night in a Tulsa hospital.
Cannon says it appears that the boy wandered out of his home. The sheriff says Johnny’s mother called authorities Tuesday morning to report her son as missing. Officers found him later that day in the pool that was two blocks from his home.
