A 31-year-old Stilwell man was taken to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., after a wreck on his four-wheeler.
Daniel James Diver’s condition was not available Monday.
Diver and his passenger, Cassandra Gerock, 31, of Cookson were on a 2003 Kawasawki 650 four-wheeler when Diver failed to negotiate a curve, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Diver was eastbound on a private road at Standing Rock Campground, 11 miles south of Tahlequah in Cherokee County. He ran off the road, striking a tree, the OHP report said.
Gerock suffered head, arm and leg injuries but refused treatment at the scene, the OHP said.
Diver was transported just before midnight Sunday to Sparks with head, leg, arm and trunk internal injuries, OHP said.
