An evening of movies celebrating Flag Day will be held at 9 p.m. Friday at the Submarine War Memorial Park and Museum.
Two documentaries, “You Bet We’re Going Back to Sea! The SS John W. Brown,” and “The USS Nautilus” and a short fictional movie, “The Last Dive,” all produced by a Cameron State University professor, will be shown.
“The Last Dive” was filmed aboard the USS Batfish, a World War II submarine that is the main attraction at the submarine War Memorial Park and Museum.
If weather permits, the screening will take place outside, so those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. There will be a $5 per person museum donation.
Information: 682-6294.
