During its regular meeting Monday, the Muskogee County Board of Commissioners:
• Convened a public hearing to consider application for 2008 community development block grant for capital improvement program for the town of Wainwright. Commissioners approved the documentation necessary for Eastern Oklahoma Development District to map the town’s infrastructure using global positioning system technology.
• Convened a public hearing to consider application for 2008 community development block grant for capital improvement program for the town of Oktaha. Commissioners approved the documentation necessary for Eastern Oklahoma Development District to map the town’s infrastructure using global positioning system technology.
• Approved $47,500 amended bid from GES Construction to install two well points outside the Muskogee County Courthouse to resolve flooding problems.
• Approved lease-purchase agreement with Welch State Bank for asphalt zipper to be acquired by District 3.
• Approved lease-purchase agreement with Armstrong Bank for two Ford F450s to be acquired by Council Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
• Accepted a $1,200 bid from Elijah Weston for the purchase of tractor and brush hog from District 2.
