A fatal collision on Oklahoma 9, seven miles west of Whitefield, claimed the lives of two people and sent at least three others to area hospitals before 6 p.m. Wednesday, Muskogee County Emergency Service spokeswoman Rebecca Smith said.
The wreck was on River Ridge Road, Smith said.
Southwest EMS transported one patient, and Muskogee EMS and Pafford EMS both sent ambulances to assist, she said.
Two patients were flown to area hospitals, but Smith did not know to which hospitals they were taken.
