A fatal collision on Oklahoma 9, seven miles west of Whitefield, claimed the lives of two people before 6 p.m. Wednesday and sent at least three more patients to hospitals, Muskogee County Emergency Service spokeswoman Rebecca Smith said.
The wreck was on River Ridge Road, Smith said.
Southwest EMS transported one patient, and Muskogee EMS and Pafford EMS also sent ambulances, she said.
Helicopters flew two patients, but Smith was not sure to what hospitals they were flown.
