PUBLIC WORKS AGENDA:

• Consider Planning Commission recommendations for the approval of submitted plats.

• Consider approval of the official ballot certificates from the Muskogee County Election Board.

• Consider acceptance of Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality consent order requiring steps to be taken to bring Muskogee Utility Authority’s wastewater collection system into compliance and prevent unpermitted discharges.

• Receive April 2008 report from Muskogee County Transit.

FINANCE COMMITTEE AGENDA:

• Consider declaring certain items to be surplus to the needs of the city and authorizing the disposal of those items.

• Consider approval of grazing leases at Davis Field Airport.

• Consider approval of professional services agreement with the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office.

• Consider declaring property located near Kalamazoo Avenue and South Second Street to be surplus to the needs of the city and the disposal of that property.

• Consider payment in the amount of $3,860.69 to the Muskogee County Election Board.

• Consider payment in the amount of $108,500 to Morgan Services for demolition and removal of 31 structures.



Muskogee Planning and Zoning Commission

WHEN: 9 a.m. Monday.

WHERE: Council Chambers, Third Floor, Municipal Building, Third Street and Okmulgee Avenue.

AGENDA:

• Public hearing to consider an application by York Properties LLC requesting the approval of the preliminary and final plat for Roughneck Addition, located at 2711 S. York St. The applicant indicates the property is being platted into one lot on 5.6 acres to allow an addition to an existing warehouse.

• Public hearing to consider application by Laferry Property Management LLC requesting the approval of a preliminary plat for Laferry Addition, located at 3130 N. 32nd St. The applicant has indicated the property is being platted into one lot on 3.34 acres to allow the existing structure to be demolished and a new structure to be added.

• Public hearing to consider application by East Side Boulevard LLC requesting the approval to close a portion of North “G” Street between East Okmulgee Avenue and East Broadway. The applicant is requesting that 27 feet on the east side of the street be closed to allow for additional parking for the Veterans Affairs facility.

• Public hearing to consider application by Adam Wood requesting the approval to consolidate 13 lots within the Homeland Park Addition. The property is located at 1002 Kentucky Ave. Consolidation is being requested to allow an accessory building to be located on the property.

• Public hearing to consider application by Advance Urology and Wellness Center of Muskogee requesting approval to consolidate 12 lots within the Canard Addition. The property is located on West Okmulgee Avenue. Consolidation is being requested to allow the existing church to be demolished and the construction of a new medical facility.

AGENDA:

• Discussion and possible action regarding detention services agreement with Muskogee County Council on Youth Services.

• Discussion and possible action regarding sales tax dedicated to the improvement and expansion of 18 fire protection districts.

• Discussion and possible action regarding the insertion agreement between the Health Department and High School Sports magazine.

• Discussion and possible action regarding request by County Clerk’s Office to dispose of a chair from its inventory.

• Open bids: Pumper Truck for the Haskell Fire Department.



Special meeting of the Muskogee City Council

WHEN: 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

WHERE: Council Chambers, Third Floor, Municipal Building, Third Street and Okmulgee Avenue.

AGENDA:

• Recognize Municipal Judge Bart Fite, who will administer the oaths of office to the newly elected City Council members.

• Recognize outgoing Mayor Wren Stratton and City Councilors Frank Borovetz Jr., Janey Cagle Boydston and Troy Stoutermire for their service to the city.

• Consider discussion and possible action regarding the selection process of nominees to the City of Muskogee Foundation’s board of directors.
