The third-annual Cherokee National Holiday Art Show will be Aug. 29-31 at the Tahlequah Armory Municipal Center. Artists will compete for the $1,400 Grand Prize award and more than $11,000 in total prize money.
This juried art show is open to members of federally recognized tribes or nations. All applications with photographs of artwork must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Aug. 20 by email or by regular mail.
Categories include basketry, jewelry, paintings, diverse arts; drawings, graphics and photography, pottery, sculpture, and textiles and weaving.
Applications are available at Cherokee First and Room 104 of the Tsa La Gi Annex.
