An Edmond man accused of submitting fraudulent claims to receive military honors has been indicted on federal charges.
James Hull was indicted this week in Muskogee on three counts of writing false documents and one count of false claim of receipt of military decoration or medal.
The 66-year-old is accused of submitting false claims to the Veterans Administration in support of claims for service-connected disabilities as a result of combat in Vietnam.
Hull also is accused of submitting fraudulent claims for a Silver Star and Meritorious Service Medal he claimed he received as a result of his military service in Vietnam.
