If you’ve lost a hubcap along an Oklahoma roadway this past year, you just might have a chance to retrieve it during the 20th Annual TRASH-OFF, a statewide cleanup set for Saturday, April 12, and sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Not only are hubcaps among the many – and sometimes unusual and unpredictable – items collected during the annual event, but they are also the coveted prize awarded to winners in several categories.
Registration forms: http://www.okladot.state.ok.us/beauty or 405-521-4037. Registrations are still being accepted through April. There is no charge for registration. Large, 33-gallon trash bags and activity ideas for TRASH-OFF also are provided at no cost.
