March 31 is the deadline for Muskogee and McIntosh county producers whose farms are administered out of Muskogee to complete and report performance for debris removal and fence restoration practices as a result of the January 2007 ice storm
Brian Hisey, county executive director said many producers have requested extensions of time to complete the practices. Those extensions will expire at the end of March and there is no authority to approve additional extensions of time to complete the practices.
Hisey said participating producers are reminded to turn in invoices for materials, rental equipment and contract labor. Producers using their own equipment and hired labor will be able to certify their own labor and equipment use time to be used for cost-share calculation purposes.
