A Muskogee man remained hospitalized Thursday evening after being stabbed by unknown assailants.
Chris Jefferson, 21, was listed in serious condition at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Jefferson was stabbed with a knife once in the chest and once in the stomach, said Capt. David Davenport of the Muskogee Police Department.
The stabbing happened in the 3600 block of Austin Street at Port City Acres about 10:55 p.m. Wednesday.
The report states Jefferson was attacked by two or three males.
