Kenneth Ray Holland, 31, of Muskogee was bound over for two trials Monday in connection with the alleged rapes and other sexual crimes against two girls, ages 9 and 10.
A third criminal case involving two charges of sexual battery against a female adult was dismissed Monday. The complaining witness had moved to Washington and did not want to return to testify, said Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Nikki Baker Dotson.
Holland is being held in Muskogee City/County Detention Facility without bond in a 2006 case.
A $100,000 bond in a 2007 case was reduced to $60,000 June 6.
The mother of the 10-year-old alleged victim in the 2006 case testified Monday her daughter was with Holland when she “started screaming when she jumped out of the (vehicle) and started running toward me.”
The mother testified she told Holland: “You’d better hope that you didn’t touch my daughter.”
She testified Holland at first denied molesting her daughter and then admitted it.
The mother said she called relatives that afternoon to move her and her daughter from where they lived with Holland.
“I left him and moved to Claremore,” the mother said.
Holland kept his head lowered during the mother’s testimony.
The alleged victims are not related but were friends, Baker Dotson said.
