The Bedouin Shrine Temple in Muskogee will sponsor a poker run today. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bedouin Shiners’ Hospital Patient Transportation Fund.
Registration for the event is 10 a.m. at the Creek Nation Casino in Muskogee. Covering a 120-mile route, the poker run will follow old outlaw trails.
The route will run from Muskogee down Oklahoma 10 to Vian, then north along U.S. 82 to Tahlequah.
From Tahlequah, the route will follow Oklahoma 80 to Hulbert and Fort Gibson and return to Max’s Garage Bar & Grill in Muskogee. Last bike must be in by 5 p.m. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m.
The run is open to all riders over age 18. The cost per hand is $25 for the first hand and $10 for additional hands. The first place winning prize will be $1,000 with other prizes going to hard-luck hands.
