The preliminary hearing for a former Hilldale band instructor was continued Tuesday due to a scheduling conflict involving the man’s lawyer.
Danny Brian Giacomo, 36, was scheduled to appear Tuesday in Muskogee County District Court for a preliminary hearing of the evidence in the first of three cases filed against him since Nov. 15.
Giacomo is accused of sexually molesting two former students. He faces charges here and in Custer County, where he allegedly raped one of the students during a band camp.
Giacomo is free on a $150,000 bond set for the eight felonies and one misdemeanor filed in Muskogee County and a $50,000 bond set for six felonies charges filed in Custer County.
Giacomo is scheduled to appear May 14 in Muskogee County District Court for his first preliminary hearing.
