A Gore man awaiting trial in Sequoyah County for the alleged rapes of two underage boys is being held in Muskogee on similar charges.
Terry Gene Williams, 24, won a reduction in his bond Monday after his Sequoyah County trial was postponed because of the state’s failure to give proper notice of its intent to use hearsay evidence. Before he was able to post bond, Williams was arrested by Muskogee County authorities.
Special District Judge Robin Adair set a bond at $50,000, and Williams was jailed in Muskogee County/City Detention Facility.
Williams is charged with two counts of lewd molestation and four counts of first-degree rape in Sequoyah County. He faces two counts of lewd molestation and one count each of rape by instrumentation and first-degree rape in Muskogee County.
Williams is scheduled to appear Oct. 31 for a sounding docket in Muskogee County District Court.
