SALLISAW — Charges were dropped against a Muldrow man and his stepmother accused of raping 16-year-old girl.
Joshua Jones, 19, and Donna Jones, 36, were arrested in May after the girl alleged she was raped by Joshua Jones while his stepmother threatened the girl with a knife. Each was charged with one count of first-degree rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to the district attorney’s office, charges against the pair were dropped after the accuser refused to testify about the alleged rape.
