Senior spellers earn accolades

Five women spelled their way to victory recently at the Senior Citizens Spelling Bee.

Ernie Moore, executive director of the Eastern Oklahoma Development District, joins the winners. They are, from left, 1st place, Karen Dunn, Muskogee; 2nd, Mary Graves, Muskogee; 3rd, Ruth Ann Medlin, Tahlequah; 4th, Wilma Brown, Muldrow; 5th, Betty Bolin, Stilwell.

Dunn and Graves will compete at the Oklahoma State Senior Spelling Bee on Tuesday at the Oklahoma State Conference on Aging in Norman.
