— Crews with Manhattan Road & Bridge move heavy equipment as they prepare dirt work at the Harris Road exits on the Muskogee Turnpike. Manhattan Road and Bridge began work this week on a 210-day contract to widen and resurface the deteriorating two-lane bridge. Tractor-trailer rigs cross the bridge daily to go to the Port of Muskogee. Port of Muskogee Director Scott Robinson said the bridge is being widened to four lanes. However, two lanes of the bridge will remain open throughout construction. He said he expects completion by midsummer 2013.
