Dr. Gary Grady, instructor of psychology at Connors State College, has been invited to speak at the annual conference of the Oklahoma Network for Teaching of Psychology.
Grady’s topic will be “Why Study Psychology?” He will be sharing a video-based presentation that he uses in his Introduction to Psychology classes.
The Oklahoma Network for Teaching of Psychology is a professional organization of psychology teachers from all levels of education. It is coordinated through Oklahoma State University where the conference will be Sept. 28.
The Oklahoma DaVinci Institute named Grady a 2012 DaVinci Fellow for his creativity in teaching. He is scheduled to participate in Creative Oklahoma’s “State of Creativity Forum” in November. He also has spoken at the British Association of Teachers of Psychology’s conference at the University of Hertfordshire, England, the Southwest Psychological Association’s conference in Oklahoma City, and the Southwest Teachers of Psychology Association’s conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
