The pet of the week for Promoting Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is Courtney. She is about 8 years old, a Corgi mix, house-broken, loves people and other animals, and would make a great family pet. She has been spayed, had her shots and wormed. Prospective owners must have fenced backyard to adopt a dog.
PAWS also has cats available for adoption. All cats have been FIV tested and have been spayed or neutered. The cats also have their shots and have been wormed. Cats must be inside only pets. To see the puppies or cats ready for adoption, visit PAWS at 4321 E. Hayes St.
