Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office officials and the Grand River Dam Authority are seeking information regarding the identity of people who damaged several electrical substations in Cherokee County.
A CCSO release states suspects used a firearm to shoot inside the substations, causing approximately $1 million in damage.
The release says the substations are shared and maintained by Lake Region Electric, the Grand River Dam Authority, and KAMO Electric Cooperative.
Those groups have offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the substation shootings.
