Preschool screening slated for Hilldale

— Hilldale Public Schools will conduct preschool screening for children ages 3 and 4 who live in the Hilldale School District. The test, which is designed to determine developmental readiness of children, will help parents determine the needs of their children before entering school. Hilldale will also conduct kindergarten screening for the 2013-14 school year.

Enrollment packets will be taken for 4-year-old pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. Requirements for enrollment include: two proofs of residence (such as electric bill), birth certificate, current immunization record, Social Security card and SoonerCare card and CDIB card. Enrollment packets must be picked up in the office during the week of March 11. Packets must be completed before the child can be screened and enrolled.

Screenings and enrollments will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. March 27 and 28 at Hilldale Elementary School, 315 E. Peak Blvd. Information: Sandy Cook, (918) 686-6056 or Kair Ridenhour (918) 683-1101.
