Woman hospitalized after collision

— Emergency responders pull Waleta Gatwood, 68, from the brown Mercury Sable she was driving Friday afternoon after a collision in the 400 block of York Street. The Warner resident was southbound on York at 11:15 a.m. when she collided with a white Dodge Stratus driven by Barbara Lennox, 68, also of Warner, according to a Muskogee Police Department collision report. The report said Lennox was northbound on York when she turned west into a restaurant parking lot. Gatwood was taken to EASTAR Health System, where she was listed in good condition Friday afternoon. Lennox was cited for failure to yield.
