Mountain View Volunteer Fire Department has purchased a used ladder truck, which will help reduce insurance rates for homeowners in the area.
Additionally, the department is having its annual membership meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 5, including a free chili and bean dinner for members beginning at 6 p.m.
The fire department is located at 2241 S. 74th St. W.
