Alexandria Schauer of Fort Gibson is among 30 Enactus students selected to attend the 2013 Partner Summit on Jan. 30-31 in New York City’s Time Life Building. She is a freshman studying international business at Oklahoma Baptist University.
During the summit, participants will interact with several top business leaders whose companies hire Enactus students, including Mike Moore, executive vice president of Walmart Central. They also engage in other networking opportunities, and they will see a presentation by the Enactus Mexico National Champion Team.
Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world. The group changed its name from Students in Free Enterprise last September.
