A public hearing is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday regarding the proposed application for two grants to fund Muskogee park and trail projects.
Parks officials plan to apply for a recreational trails grant to help fund first-phase construction of the Coody Creek Trail improvements. An application also is planned for land and water conservation funds, which would be used for Honor Heights Park improvements.
The public hearing will be conducted by the Parks and Recreation Board at the department’s offices, 837 E. Okmulgee Ave. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
