Former Muskogee resident Alfred George “Skip” Weaver III, recently retired from a 36-year career in the military.
Weaver, 57, graduated from Muskogee High School in 1974. He then entered the Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of corporal. He joined the Army in 1983 and the Oklahoma Army National Guard in 1999. He retired as a sergeant first class.
Weaver and his wife, Karen G. Weaver, make their home in Columbus, Ga.
