Two Eufaula men injured in crash

Two Eufaula men were injured in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Seminole County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

The OHP report states a 2003 Ford pickup driven by Chase Butler, 21, was westbound on Interstate 40 when it drove into the median, struck a ditch and rolled over one complete time.

Butler had a head injury, according to the report, and was treated  at the Creek Nation Hospital and released.

A passenger in the pickup, Thomas Butler, 43, had multiple injuries, according to the report. He was taken to Creek Nation Hospital but was transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. An updated condition for Thomas was unavailable.

The report states Thomas Butler was pinned in the vehicle for approximately 20 minutes before being freed by the Cromwell Fire Department. Both Chase and Thomas were wearing seat belts, the report states, and airbags did not deploy.
