Child porn case delayed to June 19

— A court date for a Eufaula man facing child pornography charges has been postponed until June 19.

Charles Dale Saviers, 78, was charged in December with pornography - procure/produce/distribute/possess juvenile pornography. Saviers was arrested after law enforcers found images of naked young men at his Eagle Bluff residence.

Authorities allege the photos were taken inside a room at Saviers’ residence. The pictures were reported to the McIntosh County Sheriff’s office after two boys doing odd jobs for Saviers discovered them.

Associate District Judge Jim Pratt’s secretary said Saviers’ attorney had requested additional information Wednesday, leading to Saviers’ court date being postponed.
