TAHLEQUAH — Sequoyah Schools will host its annual Eighth-Grade Day on Wednesday. Area eighth-grade students who are interested in enrolling in Sequoyah as freshmen are invited to attend.
“Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour the campus and hear presentations on what our school has to offer and the application process that is required to enroll at Sequoyah,” said Tera Shows, event coordinator.
There will be two sessions to accommodate the large numbers that are expected to attend. The morning session will last from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., and the afternoon session will begin at noon and last until 2:15 p.m. All prospective students must pre-register prior to the event and must attend with an adult or school group.
Applications for the 2013-14 school year will be released at the event and made available to the public via the schools’ website at http://sequoyah.cherokee.org on Feb. 21.
To register, contact Shows: (918) 453-5542 or email tshows@cherokee.org.
