Jamie Carey, a member of the Webbers Falls FFA chapter, is a candidate for state FFA officer.
Elections for eight new state officers will take place during the 87th Oklahoma FFA Convention on April 30-May 1.
State officers travel across the state and nation, representing more than 24,000 Oklahoma FFA members. They provide leadership and personal development training for FFA members, and make decisions about organizational policy.
The new officers will be introduced during the final convention session May 1 in the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
