An 8-year-old Wagoner boy was injured when he failed to yield and drove a four-wheeler into the path of an oncoming pickup, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
Devyn Michael Clark was listed in critical condition when he was admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, the report states. A condition Friday was unavailable from the hospital.
Devyn was driving a 2008 Polaris four-wheeler southbound from a private drive on Groat Road about two miles west and two miles north of Hulbert in Cherokee County when the crash occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. Thursday. Donald Thomas Ingram, 34, of Hulbert was driving eastbound on Groat Road, and the two collided. The four-wheeler ran off the right side of the road and ended up in a ditch. Devyn landed approximately six feet south of the four-wheeler. He was not wearing a helmet, and Ingram was not wearing a seat belt. Ingram was not injured, the OHP report states.
