The Muskogee County Election Board voted to strike Szabi Szabo’s name from the Hilldale School Board Office 3 ballot.
At a Wednesday meeting, board members agreed that Szabo had not lived in the area served by Office 3 for the required six months before filing for office. Szabo’s attorneys sent the board a letter stating that they determined he is ineligible to run.
Derek A. Nunn will face Chris F. Pantle in the Feb. 12 election.
