OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded this month for bridge repairs in Wagoner County, Sen. Kim David and Rep. Wade Rousselot recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project will involve joint seal and other necessary repairs to the Oklahoma 51 bridge over the Verdigris River just over nine miles east of Oklahoma 72.
Sen. David, R-Porter, said the State Transportation Commission awarded just over a $56,000
contract on the project to PBX Corporation. The Sapulpa company was the lowest of four bidders for the job, said Rep. Rousselot, D-Wagoner.
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within a month.
