Three Stigler residents were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision in Haskell County, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report states.
Daniel McCane, 45; Darnishia McCane, 32; and Stephanie Quick all sustained injuries, but the OHP report states only Darnishia McCane was stable when she was admitted to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. The report does not state where the others injured were taken.
According to the report, the crash happened at 9:50 a.m. a mile west of Stigler at Oklahoma 9 in Haskell County. Daniel McCane was driving a 1999 Dodge Durango and rear-ended a 2007 Chevrolet truck being driven by Quick, who was westbound waiting to turn. Quick’s two passengers were not injured. Everyone in both vehicles were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were equipped with airbags but only deployed in the Durango.
