South 24th Street will be closed Tuesday between Hancock and Border streets because of delays in the construction of the Coody Creek outfall line.
The sewer line replacement project is in its third and final phase. The project was required as part of a consent order issued after thousands of gallons of raw sewage spilled into a tributary of Coody Creek.
The project is estimated to cost $12 million.
